A Fascinating and Fun Interview

Eric Metaxas is an evangelical leader and author who's written such books as Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy and Amazing Grace: William Wilberforce and the Heroic Campaign to End Slavery. Eric's attends the well-known Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City, led by Pastor Tim Keller. Among the many leadership hats Eric wears, he regularly conducts interviews of individuals of great intellectual and societal influence through his Socrates in the City events. Recently at this event Eric interviewed the wildly popular author and columnist Malcolm Gladwell who's written the bestsellers Tipping Point, Blink, Outliers, and - as discussed in this interview, his latest - David and Goliath. I read Outliers in 2012 and found it to be a very enjoyable and stimulating read.

Though this interview does not contain overt themes of theology or the gospel, I still found it fascinating, helpful, and encouraging. There are many things to learn as you listen and watch the dialogue between these two highly influential men. Enjoy!
